All of November!
NaNoWriMo is an annual, Internet-based creative writing project that takes place during the month of November. Participants attempt to write a 50,000 word manuscript between November 1 and November 30.
Kick-Off Party – Wednesday, November 1st at 6:00 pm: Join us to discuss writing strategies, enjoy snacks and drinks, and spend your time writing and meeting fellow NaNoWriMo-ers!
NoNoWriMo Coffeehouse – Wednesday, November 15th at 6:00 pm: You’re halfway there! Come work on your novel for NaNoWriMo and meet some fellow NaNoWriMo participants. You can share snippets of your work and get opinions and ideas as well as enjoy some snacks, drinks, and of course, coffee! (We will be split into age appropriate groups with teens in the Teen Room, children in the Children’s Activity Room, and adults in the Conference Room.)
Celebration Party – Thursday, November 30th at 6:00 pm: Regardless if you hit the 50,000 word count or not, join us to celebrate your NaNoWriMo efforts. Share some of your work or just enjoy some delicious food while you bask in the relief of another successful NaNoWriMo!
Write-Ins – Every Saturday in November 9:00 am to 5:00 pm: Need a quiet place to work on your novel? Need a shoulder to cry on? Then come to the library for our Saturday Write-Ins. You can find yourself a quiet spot to work on your novel and meet other NaNoWriMo participants. All ages, registration not required.
