There’s something for everyone!


What do Star Wars, The Amazing World of Gumball, Minecraft, and Moana have in common? CODE! Bring your own device or use the library’s tech to complete this year’s Hour of Code. You’ll earn a sticker, certificate, and candy! We’re hosting our Hour of Code on Tuesday, December 6 from 5 – 6 PM. This event is open to grades K-12.

Come to the library on Wednesday, December 7 from 5 – 6 PM for another exciting meeting of Lego Club where imagination is your only limit. We will have some fun holiday challenges for you to try and lots of free play time.

Presented by Hendricks County Parks & Recreation Naturalists, Animal Tales programs introduce young children to nature through a featured children’s book and fun crafts centered around the theme. This month will feature The Mitten by Jan Brett. Meet with the Naturalist on Thursday, December 8 from 2 – 3 PM.

Are you on the naughty or the nice list? Visit with Santa to find out and take home some holiday goodies. Santa will be at the library on Tuesday, December 13th from 6 – 7:30 PM.

Need to make a last minute gift? Just feeling crafty? Come and make various holiday crafts while enjoying some festive treats on Wednesday, December 14th from 5 – 6 PM! Please register by clicking here.

Our annual Gingerbread House Program is Wednesday, December 21 from 6 – 7:30 PM. Celebrate the holiday season! Come with the whole family to make this event a family tradition. Please bring a can of frosting and a bag of candy to share. Click here to register.


The library will be closed all day on Saturday, December 24 and Sunday, December 25. The library will close at 1 PM on Saturday, December 31 and remain closed on Sunday, January 1.
