The first Little Free Library is located on the front porch of the Bread Basket Cafe & Bakery. It was constructed by Danville’s Gene Autry.
The Little Free Library project is “designed to promote literacy and a love of reading” through a free community book exchange. You can take a book, share a book, or give a book, in an effort to pay it forward.
During the next several months, fourteen other Little Free Libraries will be installed around Danville. Stay tuned for more announcements about these Little Free Library locations.
