Teens in the library?!
You are welcome!
We hope to see you at our teen events this month. All events are for teens in grades 7-12 unless otherwise specified.
Anime fans rejoice! Anime Club will meet twice in November. Dates are Monday, November 7 and 21 from 6 – 7 PM. All anime viewers are welcome, from newbies to hardcore fans. So join us! Watch your favorite anime and treat yourself to snacks. If you’re a first-time attendee, just come to a meeting (no need to register).
Teen Advisory Board (TAB) isn’t as boring as it might sound. TAB is a group of teens dedicated to making the library a place where they can find themselves! This is your opportunity to tell Megan your ideas on programing, materials you might want, and any issues you’d like to discuss. Come to the meeting on Tuesday, November 8 from 4:30 – 5:30 PM.
Do it yourself! Teen DIY is a monthly program where teens can make and take various projects. Think no-sew pillows, brush robots, jewelry, paper crafts, and more! We’ll provide all the materials. On Tuesday, November 15 at 5 PM we’ll be making gifts for friends and loved ones. You’ll be able to take them home already wrapped.
Get your game on the fourth Tuesday of each month! We’ll have board games, card games, table top games, trivia…and more. GAME ON is Tuesday, November 22 from 5 – 6 PM.
Looking for a place to hang out and have fun with your friends or family? Read, learn, play during International Games Day @ your library. On Saturday, November 19th from 11 AM – 4 PM, we will host special game programs to celebrate our national love of games. This is a family friendly, all ages event.
